When I arranged a surprise birthday party for my wife at Ormidale House it was suggested that I perhaps contact you and arrange a dinner – little did I know then just what an extraordinary event we would all be able to recall, and talk about for some time afterwards, thanks to your amazing menu; a palette of cascading flavors and visual feast for the eyes. Outside ‘catering’ often conjours up images of limp sandwiches, packet soups disguised as ‘homemade’ or crisps and dips of some dubious origin; it just doesn’t do your culinary prowess justice. You are a team at the top of your game. From my first contact with Yvonne, for whom nothing is too much trouble, to the late curved ball of adding a vegetarian and youngsters needs at you at the last minute, you took away the entire stress of planning and preparing to then present a dinner that would rival any, and I mean any, upscale city restaurant – everything was cooked to perfection and presented promptly and discretely. The canapés were a delight on the palate complimenting the champagne wonderfully, the glazed melon starter refreshed the senses in preparation for what followed – the most delicate and sublime sea bass on perfectly cooked pasta, only to be topped by the fillet steak which was mouth wateringly tender and cooked to perfection for each and every one of us, so tender in fact that no steak knife was necessary to cut! Our final courses of the lemon tart, which cleansed the richness of the previous course was simply heavenly and then we enjoyed a wonderful selection of cheeses. A beautifully balanced and well conceived menu, freshly prepared and cooked to perfection, presented with charm and attention to detail. On behalf of all of us, thank-you so very much for helping create such a wonderful experience.

Hope your wedding went as fantastically well as ours did. Just wanted to pass on a testimonial. The help your provided throughout the whole process was outstanding. No question, small or otherwise went unanswered. The menu options, food and drink, were incredibly varied and we were allowed to be very flexible in choosing these options. The price was outstanding for the drinks and menu that we chose. The day itself went so smoothly, absolutely no problems at all! And have been getting comments from the wedding guests ever since about the outstanding food, especially the steak pie, I highly recommend!

I would like to share my appreciation of the time and effort that you took to ensure that the charity ball that I organised to raise much needed funds for St. Andrew’s hospice was such a success. From your prompt replies, to your help and advice regarding menu choices to the superb food and service that we received, each was a sign of your professionalism and your commitment to providing a first class service. On both occasions that I have used your company I have been struck by the reasonable prices yet the quality of the food. The presentation and service of the meal was also of a very high standard and your staff obviously work very hard to make each event special for the people attending. I have to mention that a particular highlight for many of the guests was the chance to meet and thank the chefs for their work and even get their photograph taken with them! This was a welcome touch as it gave everyone the chance to comment on their meal. Several friends have since used your company for family gathering and parties and I think that this is testimony to the fact that they enjoyed their meal and that the food at the charity ball was a huge part of the success of the evening. I would not hesitate to use your company again and would be happy to recommend you to anyone who was looking for a first class caterer. Now that the dust has settled on Amie’s wedding I have the time to drop you a quick note expressing our thanks for helping make Amie’s day such a wonderful experience. We were all impressed with the Food and no one had any complaints about the meal at all, usual when you are catering for almost 200 people , so great job. The bar staff and the bar itself where fantastic fully stocked and catered to everyone,s need without running out, and trust me I know how much was drank by the guests, especially the London / Irish. Special thanks to Yvonne for great communication and service overall and we will definitely be in touch when number two daughter decides to tie the knot

I know its been a few weeks now since my wedding but I’m just getting round to sending this email today, sorry for the delay. I would just like to take a few minutes to let yous both know how truly grateful I am for the service that we received on our wedding. When I was organising my wedding the caterers was one of my biggest worrys? would the food be good? would it be brought out on time? all the common worrys. From the first meeting with Yvonne my mind was put at ease, so professionally and friendly. On the big day all my guests got stuck into home made soup, steak pie or chicken, then ice cream. The serving staff were so polite and made sure everybody Had anything they needed, even Yvonne herself being there asking everybody did they enjoy there dinner? a real personal touch. The food was out of this world big chunks of steak and sausage in the steak pie and the ice cream was amazing! So again a big thank you from the Turners for making our special day go with ease and sent all our guests home well fed and happy. One thing I must say on a bad note unfortunately for weeks after the wedding when I met anyone who was at my special day when I asked them how they thought the day went? waiting on a compliment on my dress I got the same reply from ALL of them……… Aye it was a good day that’s the best meal we’ve ever got at a wedding???? no mention of the dress! but thats okay, i’ll get over it. hehe
